Abstract

The study of materials from Casa de Cantaber (p‑EDXRF and micro‑EDXRF), in Conimbriga, allows to contextualize the traces of metallurgical activity there known in the process of refining gold by liquidation.

The context chronology (5th century AD) is presented; its implantation in the building is discussed; and the conclusions that can be drawn from it are presented.
